The Lions Rampant formed as a band in early 2007 in Glasgow, Scotland. Initially arising from a diverse group of musicians who met on Glasgow’s ceilidh dance circuit, the Lions’ cut their teeth in ceilidh-rock groups such as "The Rockin Reels" and "The Jiggers", experimenting on breaks and in rehearsals with some of the sounds that would later find their way onto this record. A Shared enthusiasm for big, over-the-top, noisy fun helped cement the group, and soon the Lions were in the studio, bringing together this fine collection featuring some of Scotland’s biggest numbers...enjoy!
